CLASSROOM
RULES
1. Treat all people with respect and as
you would want to be treated even if they mistreat you.
2. Keep your hands and property to yourself.
3. Talk only with permission.
4. Go directly to your seat
when entering the classroom and prepare for class work. Do not stand at the door between classes. Do not stand and talk in the classroom between classes.
5. Be seated before the tardy bell rings,
ready to work. A tardy will be issued for anyone whose entire body is not in
the classroom before the tardy bell rings. Other discipline procedures will be
followed for those students who congregate in the classroom without going directly to their seats before the tardy bell rings.
6. Be seated at all times. You are not to go to the waste basket, pencil sharpener or anywhere else without permission.
7. Have proper materials in class to work. (i.e. paper, pencil, notebook, textbook) You will not be allowed to borrow materials from other students after the tardy bell.
8. Sharpen pencils before the tardy bell.
9. During lab and other appropriate times,
move around the classroom in an orderly fashion. No running, pushing, etc. before
and after the tardy bell.
10. Defacing and/or destruction school property will not be tolerated.
11. Eating or chewing gum will not be allowed.
12. Leave the classroom neat and orderly after class is dismissed. Class may not be over when the bell rings.
13. Passes will be issued only for extreme emergencies.
14. All policies in the student handbook will be followed.
DISCIPLINE
PROCEDURES:
First
Offense - Conference after class with student for minor offenses.
Second
Offense - Letter to or conference with parent.
Third
Offense - Conference with Guidance Personnel, Assistant Principal, or Principal
